Miss Guanyin, I'll take you home

At 3.52am on 9 December 2021, I saw in a group chat that the Shanghai Zun Guanyin had been abandoned in front of the Shanghai Fertility Planning Bureau and should not have stayed there, so I called a flash delivery boy to take the Guanyin to her "home". This home was actually a 'home' that I set up at the exhibition site. The video work played on the TV was a collection of earthy videos from 2021 on my mobile phone, and the video story played on the Ipad was a video of me looking at houses on home seller online.
At the end of the exhibition, the piece was collected by a big brother on idle fish. He purchased my sofa in the hope that it would bring him warmth.
After the exhibition, I brought miss Guanyin back to my rented house.
In January 2023, I left Shanghai and I brought miss Guanyin back to my hometown, Jiuhua Mountain.
In February 2023, by chance, the monk of the temple that my family frequented said that Miss Guanyin could be enshrined in the temple's Guanyin Temple.
Eventually, Miss Guanyin came home.

2021年12月9号凌晨3点52分，我在一群聊中看到上海尊观音被丢弃在了观音姐姐，不应该呆在上海生育计划局门口，于是我叫了个闪送小哥带观音姐姐“家”。这个家其实是我在展览现场搭建一个“家”。电视机里播放的影像作品是我手机里2021年的土味视频合集，Ipad里播放的是我在链家线上看房的视频故事。展览结束，这个作品被闲鱼上的一位大哥收藏了。他购买了我的沙发，希望这个沙发能带给他温暖。
展览结束后，我把观音姐姐带回了我的出租屋。
2023年1月份，我离开上海，把观音姐姐带回了我的家乡九华山。
2023年2月份，机缘巧合下，家中经常去的庙里的师父说，可以供奉在庙里的观音殿。
最终，观音姐姐回家了。
On December 9, 2021 I found the abandoned Guanyin in a group chat in Shanghai.
In January 2022, when the exhibition ended, the sofa of this work was bought by a customer of a second-hand trading platform in China; the picture on the right shows the chat and the freight driver.
